Steps for Making a Paper Bag Turkey
Creating this paper bag turkey is very simple!
1. Begin by attaching the feathers to the back of the paper bag.
The flap should face forward so it can serve as the turkey’s face.
For the feathers, I suggest using tacky glue or hot glue with adult assistance. White glue works as well, but be sure to give it plenty of time to dry before lifting the paper bag.
Continue adding glue until the entire back is covered in feathers. Use any colors you prefer. Children can also have fun arranging them into a pattern!
2. Attach two googly eyes.
Another option is to draw eyes on white paper, cut them out, and glue them in place.
3. Make a triangle beak using orange construction paper or cardstock.
Place the beak beneath the googly eyes and glue it down.
Once the turkey is finished, your children can slip their hands inside and use it as a puppet!
