Here are a few suggestions you can share with children to help them rearrange the words:
- Separate the vowels from the consonants and examine them individually.
- Recall every summer-related word you know and jot them down. Do any contain similar letters? Record whatever comes to mind, then compare your ideas.
- Sometimes rearranging the letters yourself makes a difference. Rewrite them in another order and check whether a familiar word appears.
- For younger children, list all of the answer words on the page for them to reference, or try our word-matching sheet where they can pair the answers with the scrambled words.
