Kids will have a great time making this no-bake recipe! Putting together these adorable Thanksgiving turkeys is simple and enjoyable. The best part for us is decorating them with the feathers (candy corn!).

Ingredients You’ll Need
We chose semi-sweet chocolate, though any chocolate you like will work. It serves as the ‘glue’ for putting the turkeys together, and it remains hidden. You could also substitute milk chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, or melting wafers.
Both regular-sized and miniature Reese’s cups are required for these turkeys. Use the full-sized cups as the bodies and the mini cups to create the turkey heads.
Either M&Ms or Reese’s pieces may be used in this recipe. Orange and yellow M&M’s, as well as Reese’s pieces, are excellent choices.

Tips for Creating Reese’s Turkeys
- Putting the turkeys together: It’s easier to prepare the turkey heads before attaching them to the bodies, so we suggest assembling them first.
- Heating the chocolate: If the chocolate begins to firm up as you work, heat it again in the microwave using 20-second intervals.
- Candy eyes: Miniature or standard-sized candy eyeballs can be used. Either option is suitable for this recipe. You’ll generally find the small candy eyeballs in the baking aisle of a craft store, while regular candy eyes are commonly available in the grocery store’s baking section.

Storage Instructions
Keep any remaining Reese’s turkeys in an airtight container for as long as one week. Arrange them in one layer so they maintain their shape.

-
Heat the chocolate in the microwave in 20-second bursts until it becomes smooth and fully melted. Stir after each interval so the warmth spreads evenly throughout the chocolate.
-
Arrange the full-sized Reese’s cups on a tray or baking sheet and set them aside.
-
For each mini Reese’s cup turkey beak, coat the narrow end of a yellow or orange M&M with chocolate, then position it in the center of the miniature Reese’s cup so it remains standing upright.
-
Create the wattle by covering the thin side of a small red M&M with chocolate and setting it beside the beak. Using a toothpick, dab melted chocolate onto the backs of the candy eyeballs, then position two eyes above the beak on each turkey head.
-
Coat the flat underside of every turkey head with chocolate, then set it onto the lower portion of a full-sized Reese’s peanut butter cup.
-
For the feathers, gently coat the back of each candy corn with melted chocolate. Thenattach five pieces to every full-sizedReese’s cup above the head.
-
Allow the chocolate to become firm for 20 to 30 minutes. If your kitchen is warm, you can instead refrigerate the tray for 10 to 15 minutes.
