Children will have a great time creating these Easter clothespin crafts. They can play with them afterward too, since all 3 figures are able to stand!
Materials Required
For every craft:
- Standard clothespins
- Acrylic Paint – black, orange and white
- Super strong glue – we recommend this adhesive because it is non-toxic and holds pom poms very well.
- Templates – the templates can be delivered to you at the end of the post

Instructions for Creating the Easter Clothespin Crafts
1. Begin by painting the clothespins. Paint 2 black, 2 white and 2 orange.

2. Cut out each template.
3. Trace every template onto colored cardstock. Use yellow for the chick’s body and orange for its feet.
4. Attach the chick’s arms to the sides of the body. Place one feather on each arm, plus another behind the body near the top of the head.
5. Secure the feet to the clothespins on the side that remains closed.
Attach 2 googly eyes. Cut a beak from orange cardstock and stick it onto the face. To create the beak, fold a piece of orange cardstock and cut out a triangular shape.
6. Attach the clothespins to the body.
Sheep
1. Trace the sheep’s head onto black cardstock and the body onto white cardstock.
2. Attach cotton balls across the white cardstock body.
3. Stick 2 googly eyes onto the head, then attach the head to the body.
4. Fasten the clothespins to the body.
Easter Bunny
1. Trace the head, body and outer ear onto white cardstock. Use pink cardstock for the inner ear.
2. Place the inner ear piece over the outer ear piece and glue them together.
3. Attach the ears to the back of the head. Glue 3 pipe cleaners onto the face, then place a pom pom over them.
4. Attach 2 googly eyes with glue, then draw a mouth using a black marker.
5. To create the upside-down bunny, attach the head to the body’s bottom. Then glue on a large pom-pom as the bunny’s tail.
6. To finish, attach the two white clothespins.
