Steps for Making the Cards
1. Print the template.
The template can be emailed to you at the bottom of this post.
2. Trim out the cupcake liner.
If you want to make a card, cut out 2 pieces in the same color for the cupcake liner.
When making a non-card version, you will need just 1 piece.

3. Attach the second piece.
Apply glue to the second cupcake liner piece along the left side only, allowing it to open like a card.

4. Cut out the cupcake top.
Trace the template onto a cardstock sheet in another color, then glue that piece beneath the cupcake liner piece.

5. Trim out the sprinkles.
Snip small paper strips and attach them to the cupcake top to create the sprinkles.

6. Attach 2 large googly eyes.

7. Draw the mouth and add the cheeks.
Use a black marker to draw a mouth.
Create the cheeks by dipping the end of a paintbrush or pencil into pink paint. Dab one cheek on each side of the mouth.

This easy cupcake craft is absolutely sweet! It’s simple enough for preschoolers or kindergarteners to create independently!
