Steps for Making DIY Bubble Wands
1. Shape the upper part of the pipe cleaner.
Bend the top section of the pipe cleaner into a heart or circle. Although you may choose any design, hearts and circles are the easiest options.

Keep a small section of pipe cleaner free so it can be twisted around the shape’s end and attached to the handle.

2. Place pony beads on the bubble wand handle.
We added 3 pony beads before putting on the letter beads, though you can choose any quantity. Children can combine different colors, or select pony beads in assorted shapes, including hearts, circles, and squares.

3. Insert the alphabet beads.
Arrange the letter beads to spell out a name or favorite word.

4. Fasten the beads in place.
At the wand’s tip, leave a short extra piece of pipe cleaner and bend it over into the final bead to hold everything securely.

5. Attach it to a Valentine card.
For Valentine gifts, print our free printable bubble Valentines and fasten a bubble wand to each card.

Children of every age will enjoy making these bubble wands for summer or Valentine’s Day! Best of all, they can play with them as soon as the craft is finished!
