Let’s be real: Pottery Barn’s lighting lineup isstunning… but the costs? Not quite as appealing. The best part? You don’t need a decorator’s budget to create that same upscale illumination.
I’ve rounded up the mostaccurate, wallet-friendly floor lampalternatives that capture Pottery Barn’s trademark aesthetic—picture streamlined arcs, natural wood foundations, and linen drum shades—at a fraction of the price. Even better? Every option ishighly rated, costs under $150(many are considerably cheaper), and most importantly, gives the impression that you spent big when youabsolutelydidn’t.
While searching for a floor lamp for my own living room, I discovered so many options that looked nearly identical to lamps I had spotted at Pottery Barn!!
Affordable Floor Lamp Finds
If you’ve been following along for some time, you already know how much I enjoy discovering and sharing inexpensive alternatives to items found at costly online stores. Finding a great lookalike is always so exciting!!
Today, I’ve uncovered lamps with nearly identical appearances—and in a few instances, I suspect they’re literally the same lamp!! The price differences will surprise you too!! Your wallet will definitely appreciate it…
Arc floor lamps
This was the fixture that led me into a deep search for imitation floor lamps!!! While refreshing a few details in my living room, I decided to add a floor lamp. Naturally, I first visited the Pottery Barn website to see how they paired floor lamps with sectionals and get a better idea of what I wanted.
The contemporary design of the PB Payton Arc Floor Lamp really appealed to me, so I searched for a similar option at a much lower price! I ultimately chose one from Amazon and absolutely love its appearance…plus, it includes a pedal for switching it on & off, which is a convenient touch.

Chelsea v. barton
These two lamps look incredibly alike! Their main distinction is the lamp bases…but does anyone really notice that??? I’d happily choose the 100-dollar option and use the additional 300 I saved for something worthwhile!!!
Contemporary Brass Floor Lamps
This floor lamp design is especially trendy at the moment. The warm, golden finish of aged brass is one of my favorite details. It would suit a contemporary room, modern farmhouse interiors, or transitional decorating styles.
I also discovered an even more affordable metal floor lamp on Amazon that looks quite comparable, aside from its base.
black dome lamp
Not a fan of brass? A black metal lamp is another excellent option. With its ideal proportions, the dome floor lamp fits nicely beside a chair or in a compact room. Pottery Barn has released a 2025 update of its lamp, and this version now includes brass as well.
Finding a duplicate for the Pottery Barn Lark Lamp was surprisingly difficult!
Honestly, I think this fixture may have come from the very same factory as the Pottery Barn design! They appear identical, and I can’t spot any variation. The Walmart Black Dome Lamp remains somewhat expensive, but it still costs about half as much as the Pottery Barn floor lamp.
tripod lamp
Wooden tripod-inspired lamps are such a playful choice, aren’t they? I can easily imagine them in a stylish apartment!!
Mid-century modern decor remains highly sought after, and this lamp makes a great statement in a room.
Once again, choosing the Amazon Tripod Lamp lookalike instead of the Pottery Barn Axson Wood Floor Lamp saves more than $300.
PB Payton v home depot
These two contemporary floor lamps have an extremely similar appearance. In fact, the refreshed, affordable alternative costs even less than the original. This newly discovered lookalike sells for roughly $55.
Brass floor lamp
This is a modern interpretation of the classic lamp-and-table combination popular in the 90s!!! Both the Pottery Barn Delaney Floor Lamp and the budget-friendly Lowe’s Jacinta Floor Lamp, priced at $149, feature sleeker and far more contemporary designs.
black & brass floor lamps
This is yet another option that closely resembles the pricier Pottery Barn design!! The bases seem to be the sole difference between the two lamps. With the extra 368 bucks I helped you save through the Home Depot lamp, you’ll definitely owe me lunch!!!
Oval Shade Floor Lamp
Here’s one more floor lamp discovery that I suspect was produced in the same facility as the Tuppence floor lamp! Its contemporary silhouette, oval shades, and dual chain pulls are all details I adore. It would make a lovely addition to a living room.
