Gnomes have grown so beloved that you can now find a style for nearly every celebration. However, Christmas gnomes may be the most treasured seasonal variety.
They are usually illustrated as tiny figures with lengthy beards and knitted caps.
Christmas gnomes come from Scandinavian folklore and are believed to protect children and animals from harm and bad luck.

The main distinction between these pom pom ornaments is the beard and hat coloring. For the earlier ornaments, we kept the hats white and highlighted the beards; this time, we chose matching beards and dressed the gnomes in vibrant hats.

Materials:
Instructions from start to finish
Create a gray pom pom with a pom pom maker. (For anyone unfamiliar with pom pom makers, instructions are included, and tutorial videos are also available on youtube. They are simple to operate, and children enjoy using them to make pom poms). Choose the largest maker size.
Color a snow cone cup in your preferred shade, then leave it to dry thoroughly.
With hot glue, attach the pom pom to the snow cone cup.
Attach a white pom pom to serve as the nose.
Punch an opening in the top of the paper cone, then thread a piece of yarn through it for hanging.
