This complimentary printable contains 30 Bingo Cards.
A complete sheet of calling cards is included as well. Cut them apart and put them in a jar to draw from, or select the pictures randomly.
Supplies Required
- White Paper or Cardstock
- Bingo Markers – refer to the marker ideas recommended below
- Optional – Self Laminating Sheets
To save the bingo cards for use year after year, laminating them is a good idea.
When the cards are printed in black and white without lamination, Do-A-Dot markers work wonderfully for this game.
Bingo Marker Choices
Candy Options: Candy Corn, Pumpkin Candy, Foiled Wrapped Halloween Chocolate, Reese’s Pieces
Non-Candy Options: Googly Eyes, Pom Poms, Buttons, Plastic Halloween Items (Spiders, Bats, Pumpkins)
Pencil or Markers: Children can cross off the spaces using a marker or dot marker
How to Prepare
Begin by printing the calling card and bingo cards (the free printable link is below).
- Trim the calling cards and put them into a bowl or jar for drawing.
- Snip out the bingo cards. Give one bingo card to each player. For groups larger than 30, place the children into smaller teams to play together.
- Choose a candy or non-candy object for the markers. Once an image is announced, the player covers that image with a marker.
- As you announce the pictures – describe the image or hold up the picture.
When printing in black and white, you might need to provide extra details for similar-looking images. For instance, there are 2 haunted houses. You could say, “the purple haunted house” or the “green haunted house”. There are also several bat images, so be sure to mention the number of bats. It is a playful way to practice counting too! - Play for one line (5 spaces in a row) or for the entire card. The first player to complete a line calls out “Bingo!”. If you have additional prizes, continue the game to make more lines.
How Can I Play With More People?
The set contains 30 different cards. When there are over 30 players, divide them into small groups and have 2-3 players participate together.
How to Print the Bingo Cards
Before printing, be sure to check the Print Preview. Since printers vary, choose “Print to Fit to Size” or find the printer’s Scale Features (printing at 90% scale is possible) in the printer settings to prevent the edges from being cut off.
