This Halloween blow-painting project is so enjoyable to create! You can also craft ghosts with white paint on black paper. Experiment with many different colors to make a variety of monsters and ghosts!

How to Create Blow-Painted Monsters and Ghosts
1. First, mix a small amount of water into every paint color you plan to use.
The paint should be slightly runny so it moves when you blow on it, but avoid making it so thin that it becomes transparent as it dries.
Place each paint color in its own cup or bowl.
2. Use a dropper to collect some paint, then place it onto the paper.
3. Blow through a straw to spread the paint in various directions.
When there isn’t enough paint to move, use the dropper to add a little more.
If the paint does not spread easily, add extra water to the mixture.
For the ghosts, blow downward in one consistent direction to form their shape.
With the monsters, blow in any direction so that every one has a different appearance!
4. Once the paint has dried, decorate your creations!
Attach googly eyes.
Draw a mouth on every monster and ghost using a black marker.
For teeth, outline the mouth with a black marker, then fill the teeth with white paint or a white chalk marker.
Your blow-painted monsters and ghosts are complete!
Every one of these monsters turns out wonderfully unique.
Teachers can have each student create an individual monster and display them on a bulletin board for a cheerful Halloween scene! For larger designs, simply use additional paint.
