Mother’s Day Handprint Tulip Card Craft

For these handprint Mother’s Day cards, you’ll need cardstock in your favorite tulip shades along with green, scissors, and a glue stick. You’ll also need a writing instrument to add a heartfelt note for Mom inside the card.

Handprint Tulip Card Craft Supplies Needed

  • Cardstock – green and assorted tulip colors
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

Easy Handprint Tulip Craft Step by Step Directions

First, collect green cardstock and cardstock in the tulip colors you prefer. We selected shades of pink and purple, along with a yellow tulip.

Fold the tulip-colored cardstock in half. Place your child’s hand so the pinky-finger side rests against the fold, then trace around the hand.

Carefully cut around the handprint, making sure the prints remain joined along the fold.

At this point, you’ll have the shape of a handprint card.

Then, cut two basic leaves from the green cardstock.

Attach the leaves to the lower part of the handprint with glue.

To finish, add a lovely Happy Mother’s Day greeting inside the card.

That’s all it takes to create a wonderful tulip card for Mom using the sweetest little handprint this Mother’s Day!
