Panda Bear Mothers Day Craft

This incredibly sweet Panda Bear Mother’s Day Craft, featuring a mama panda cuddling her little one, is sure to be a project Mom will love bear-y much. It’s wonderfully simple to assemble, too!

The great thing about these pandas is that they’re created mostly from circles. To simplify the process, we’ve provided our Free Printable Mom Panda Template, which includes the main body and head circles along with the arms. The remaining circles measure 1” and ⅝”, and we made them using paper punches.

Step-by-Step Instructions for the Mother’s Day Panda Craft

Start by printing the panda template onto white paper.

Trim around the circles, staying outside the black outlines.

Next, cut out the arm patterns. Trace each arm onto black cardstock, then cut them out. You’ll also need eight 1” circles from the black cardstock and four ⅝” circles.

Begin assembling by gluing the largest circle near the bottom of the background cardstock. Glue 2 of the 1” circles behind the next-largest circle to create the ears, then attach it above the large circle.

After that, place the third-largest circle over the front of the largest circle. Attach 2 of the 1” black circles to the smallest circle as ears, then arrange it as the baby panda.

Next, glue 2 of the ⅝” circles onto the faces as noses.

Draw a small, simple smile with the black sharpie.

Then, attach 2 of the 1” circles where the mama panda’s eyes will go. Use the remaining 2 ⅝” circles for the baby panda’s eyes.

Attach googly eyes inside the black circles. The baby panda’s eyes should be a little smaller than the mama panda’s.

Place the last 2 1” circles at the bottom for feet.

Glue the arms onto the mama panda so they appear to be holding her baby.

To finish, use markers to add a few hearts around the mama and baby pandas.

What a precious way to let Mom know just how bear-y panda-rific she is!
