July 4th Photo Prop Crafts
Although these July 4th photo prop projects are different, both require the same materials. Gather paper straws, red and blue glitter paper, white cardstock, glue, and scissors. A star paper punch can also come in handy.
Patriotic Photo Props Craft Supplies Needed
- Mustache Template
- Patriotic paper straws
- Glitter paper – red, blue
- White cardstock
- Glue stick
- Scissors
July 4th Mustache Craft
First, print the mustache template onto white cardstock, then carefully cut it out.
Place the template on red glitter cardstock, trace around it, and cut out the shape.
Repeat the process with blue glitter cardstock to create another mustache, then divide the blue mustache in half.
Attach one blue half to one side of the red mustache with glue, creating a design that is half blue and half red.
Then, use a star paper punch or snip out tiny stars from white cardstock and place them on the blue portion.
To complete the prop, secure one paper straw to each side.
4th of July Glasses Craft
Start by gathering 2 patriotic paper straws.
Flatten both paper straws and shape each one into a circle. Secure the ends with glue. If necessary, use glue dots or hot glue instead.
Next, snip two short pieces from a blue paper straw.
Use one blue straw segment to join the circles across the front, then attach the other segment across the back.
After that, fasten a complete paper straw to one side of the glasses.
Finally, cut several triangles out of red glitter paper.
Finish the photo prop by gluing the triangles along the upper edges of the circles.
