Autumn Pumpkin Wreath Made with Cupcake Liners
To create our autumn cupcake liner pumpkins, gather a paper plate, orange cupcake liners, and brown and green cardstock, along with scissors and a glue stick. Altogether, that’s just five supplies for an attractive fall pumpkin project!
Materials for the Fall Pumpkin Project
- Paper plate
- Orange cupcake liners
- Cardstock – brown, green
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Step-by-Step Pumpkin Wreath Instructions
First, get a paper plate ready.
Remove the center circle from the plate. Since the scissors may slip or poke while cutting through the plate, an adult should handle this part.
Next, collect several orange cupcake liners. The quantity you’ll use depends on how tightly you arrange and attach them. Flip each liner inside out, placing the colored side outward.
Begin attaching the cupcake liners around the plate with glue. Apply glue only to the middle of each liner, leaving the edges lifted.
Keep adding cupcake liners around the paper plate until the entire surface is covered.
After that, trim a stem from the brown cardstock and cut a narrow piece from the green cardstock.
Wrap the green strip around a pen or pencil to give it a curl.
Attach the stem to the upper portion of the paper plate.
To finish this delightful fall pumpkin decoration made from cupcake liners, glue the curled green strip onto the stem. Hang it anywhere that could use a little seasonal warmth!
