How to Create a 4th of July Wreath
1. Print the complimentary printable templates.
The free printable templates can be found at the bottom of the post (inside the form displaying a preview of the design).

2. Trim the templates.

3. Add color to the templates.
To cover the paper plate as pictured, you’ll need to color all six wreath templates. Of course, you may use more or fewer!

4. Remove the center from a paper plate.
First, cut out the middle of the paper plate. I find it helpful to gently fold the plate to create a starting mark, allowing the scissors to slip inside and remove this section.

5. Decorate the paper plate with paint.
Although optional, painting can help because portions of the paper plate may remain visible based on where the templates are attached.

6. Attach the templates to the paper plate with glue.
Adhere each template to the paper plate. If you prefer not to color six designs, leave more space between them and use fewer pieces.

7. Secure a loop of twine on the back for hanging.
Use tape to fasten the twine to the back so it can be hung.

These Independence Day wreaths make a cheerful way to mark the 4th of July. Create several and display them at a BBQ or holiday gathering! You can also turn the templates into your own 4th of July banner.
