We’ve created a delightful Spring & Easter Wreath Paper craft for children and families of every age – including a free Easter Printable. This is far more than an ordinary Spring & Easter activity… it encourages children to discover spring flowers, practise spatial awareness, and learn about colours while strengthening fine motor abilities through colouring and crafting. The Easter Wreath may be made solely with our free printables, or you can pair them with a paper plate!

What makes this bright paper wreath especially wonderful is its versatility. Use it as a straightforward spring decoration without words, turn it into a Welcome Spring craft or an Easter decoration (naturally!), and even adapt it for Mother’s Day!
We simply had to include plenty of choices for you! The charming printable flowers and Easter eggs can also be used with a paper plate foundation – adding a lovely bit of depth to your wreath project!

Materials required for the Spring & Easter Wreath Project:
- Optional: a paper plate for adding a subtle 3D form to the wreath. The printable also contains a wreath base.

- Paper – 120gsm (32lb) or heavier,
- Scissors,
- Colouring Pens, markers and/or watercolours/ paints,
- Glue stick

Steps for making your Spring & Easter Wreath
1.) Download the printable, then enjoy colouring the lovely spring flowers and matching leaves. Can you name every individual spring flower?
The name of each flower is printed beside it on the printable! Search for pictures to see how they should be coloured. This is also a wonderful chance to try watercolours if you would like! Crayons, pens and pencils will look great too.
2.) After colouring all the spring flowers and leaves, select the template you would like to use for the wreath itself.
You may cut out the centre or choose a design featuring “Happy Easter”, “Happy Spring”, “Welcome Spring”, or “Happy Mother’s Day” in the middle of the wreath. Select the wording that suits your occasion. Alternatively, as noted above, you can use a paper plate with its centre removed.
For this project, we’ll continue with the “Happy Easter” design.
Colour the wreath using your chosen shade of green, then decorate the Easter eggs.
3.) Now cut out the spring flowers, leaves, Easter eggs and wreath base. If toddlers or preschool children are taking part, you may want to assist them here, although this is also a fantastic way to practise safe scissor skills.
If you selected a word-free template and want to remove the centre, try this method: Make a small opening in the middle of the wreath, carefully push through it, then place your scissors inside and cut away the interior section.
4.) Let’s position the spring flowers, leaves and Easter eggs on the wreath base. Begin by placing the largest leaves, and glue them into position.
Next, attach the Easter eggs, followed by the spring flowers. Glue everything down, then finish by adding and securing the remaining small leaves!
Finished! Hooray!
