Choices for Bingo Markers
Candy Choices: M&M’s, jelly beans, chocolate coins
Non-Candy Choices: Coins, pom poms, buttons
Pencil or Markers:You can let children mark the spaces with a marker or dot marker. Dry erase markers are another option when the cards are laminated.
How To Organize a Hanukkah Bingo Game
Begin by printing the calling card and bingo cards(the free printable is linked below).
1.Snip out the calling cards and put them into a bowl or jar to draw.
2.Trim out the bingo cards.Give one bingo card to each player. With more than 10 participants, children can play together in small groups.
3.Choose candy or other items for markers.Once an image is announced, the player covers that image with a marker.
4.When announcing the images – either explain what is pictured or display the card. Several dreidels, stars, and candles appear in different colors. Identifying the blue spinning dreidel aloud or showing the selected card makes it simpler for children to find it on their bingo card.
5.Choose whether to play for a line (5 in a row) or the entire card.The first player to complete a line calls out “Bingo!”. If you have additional prizes, continue playing for more lines. Since there are 30 calling cards, completing a full card may produce several winners simultaneously, depending on the group size. For this reason, we suggest mainly playing for lines. Shuffle the cards and begin another round once several lines have been completed.
How Do I Play With a Larger Group?
The set contains 10 different cards. For groups larger than 10, divide the players into small teams of 2-3. Alternatively, distribute matching cards so multiple players can win at once.
How To Print the Bingo Cards
