Palm tree handprint craft
Materials:
- 2 paper plates in assorted sizes
- paper towel tube
- green and pale brown cardstock or construction paper
- craft paint: green, blue and brown
- adhesive
- tiny seashells (optional)
Instructions in steps
Begin by painting the 2 paper plates. Cover the larger plate with blue paint and the smaller plate with green paint.
As the plates dry, paint the paper roll brown.
Place your child’s hand on the green paper, trace around it, and cut out 4 handprints.
Trace 3 circles onto brown paper using a small round container, then cut them out.
After the paint has completely dried, attach the small paper plate to the top of the larger one.
With hot glue, secure the paper roll between the two paper plates.
Join the 4 handprints together, then place the 3 circles at their center.
Complete the project by attaching the handprints to the top of the paper roll.
Adding a few tiny seashells to the green paper plate is another option.
