Instructions for creating a paper plate pond
Begin by painting a paper plate. Apply one or two shades of blue to the center and green paint around the edge.
While the paper plate is drying, download the complimentary printable template. (enter email at the end of the article to receive the template). Print it onto green paper, then cut out the lily pads and frogs.
Next, create a few lilies with tissue paper. You can use one color or several.
First, cut a square from the initial color and fold it in half. Fold it in half once again.
Fold it in half once more,diagonally, this time. Then make one additional diagonal crease.
Shape the edge like a petal, then open out the tissue paper.
Using tissue paper in the same or another color, cut a smaller square and repeat the steps to form one more flower.
For each lily, create two to four flowers and attach them to the lily pads already glued onto the paper plates.
Glue googly eyes onto the frog, crease the lower strip, and attach the frog to the paper plate.
