The Lunar New Year is a meaningful festival in Chinese culture and gives your family a chance to discover another wonderful holiday. Since 2025 is the Year of the Snake, you and your children can create a Chinese New Year snake spinner craft.
In Chinese culture, snakes symbolize intelligence and abundance. As children make this snake coloring project, they can discover the Zodiac animals while enjoying an entertaining and imaginative activity.
Only a few materials are needed for the Chinese New Year snake spinner craft, and children will need to color both designs.

The front displays the year 2025, while one side of the wheel shows a snake and the other says: Happy Chinese New Year.
In 2025, the Chinese New Year celebration lasts eight days, beginning in January and concluding in February. The Lantern Festival takes place afterward in February.

Preschoolers, kindergartners and elementary-aged children can easily enjoy making our snake craft in the classroom with a teacher or at home with mom on a chilly winter day. It is especially useful during snowy weather, when you need creative projects to keep children occupied and happily engaged indoors.
