3D Paper Snowflakes How To

I have wanted to share these 3D Paper Snowflakes with you for years, and I have FINALLY gotten around to creating them for you. They are traditional Paper Snowflakes from Scandinavia! These 3D paper snowflakes are sometimes called Paper Stars as well, and they look absolutely WONDERFUL when made in colour too (See below!!). Either way, they are a gorgeous Christmas Decoration and a budget-friendly Christmas Paper Craft, as well as a lovely general “Winter Decoration”! (You may also LOVE these Paper Bag Stars, which are incredibly easy and QUICK to create). I believe it is important to “decorate for Winter”, because once the Christmas celebrations and festive sparkle are over, the rest of Winter can feel rather dull and gloomy!!! So create a few of these beautiful 3D Paper Snowflakes and give your house or bedroom a wonderfully Wintery Festive appearance. You will discover that they are far simpler to make than they appear, and after you become familiar with the process, you can “do away” with measuring the pencil guidelines and simply cut free hand while experimenting!

Easy 3D Paper Snowflakes How To - these paper snowflakes or stars are beautiful and surpirsingly easy to make

3D Paper Snowflakes DIY – Materials:

for each snowflake you will need –

  • 3 sheets of A4 printer paper (although any kind of paper will do! Origami paper is excellent for this too! Alternatively, create GIANT 3D Paper Snowflakes with 6 sheets of paper – one for each snowflake point)
  • scissors
  • glue stick (in my opinion, pritt stick is definitely the best)
  • Stapler
  • String for hanging
