Here’s an enjoyable Back to School Craft to try today. With the help of our printable craft template, you and your students can create this wonderful All About Me polaroid Camera for Back to School! It’s a creative classroom activity that helps everyone get acquainted. Children can illustrate their answers using the prompts or write a few sentences instead, if they wish. This All About Me Polaroid Camera project would also be perfect for Summer Camps or even a New Year’s Eve activity!
As you might expect, this craft is both wonderfully entertaining and wonderfully simple, requiring almost no preparation! All you need to provide is a printer, paper, pencils, scissors and a glue stick.
Print the template and distribute it to your students.
They may select the polaroid tabs they would like to use and decorate them. Alternatively, they can use the blank strips, which are actually my favourites, to create their own personal facts. For example, they could include questions such as:
- What would you like to be when you grow up?
- If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
- What characteristics would your ideal pet have?
There are therefore plenty of ways to let their imaginations run free.
Next, children can cut out their camera photo facts, glue them together and fasten them to their “all about me” camera.
Teachers may choose to
- attach a photo of the child to the camera,
- add only a name or
- have the children draw a tiny self portrait!
