How to Make Bunny Slime

Anyone with sensitive skin should wear gloves while handling the slime. Wash your hands before and after use every time. Stop using the slime immediately if skin irritation appears. Supplies for the Bunny Slime Recipe
- 6 oz of White Elmer’s Glue– we recommend purchasing the Gallon size
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup of water – helps give the slime a stretchier texture
- 1½ tablespoon contact lens solution *Note: choosing the correct contact solution is essential; it needs to contain boric acid to work.
- Liquid Food Coloring – this set includes bright pink, blue and yellow shades
Slime Recipe for Easter Bunny Slime
1. Choose a bowl for combining your slime ingredients.
2. Add 6 oz of Elmer’s white glue to the bowl.
3. Pour in 1/4 cup of water and stir everything together.
4. Mix in 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and the food coloring.
We prefer this set since it includes vivid pink, blue and yellow.
5. Pour in 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution.
Proceed as slowly as you can during this step to avoid over-activating the slime, which can cause it to become firmer and less stretchy.
Begin by adding 1 tablespoon, then stir the mixture. Set aside the remaining 1/2 tablespoon and gradually mix it in. Use only enough to help the slime separate from the sides of the bowl.
Remove the slime from the bowl and knead it for 5-10 minutes. It will still be quite sticky at this stage, which is completely normal!
If the slime remains overly sticky after you have used the entire tablespoon of contact lens solution, put a little lotion on your hands and continue kneading. You may also mix in an additional 1/2 tablespoon of contact solution, but save this for the final step.

Next, we’ll show you how to create the bunny mason jars. These jars are perfect for storing your slime, which should keep for at least one week. Be sure the jar is sealed tightly.

Steps to Make Bunny Mason Jars
1. Start by placing your slime inside the jars.
2. Twist 3 pipe cleaners together at the middle, then attach them to the mason jar with glue.
2. Attach googly eyes and a pom pom to serve as the nose.
3. Use stiff felt to cut out two ears along with their inner ear pieces. Because the felt is firm, the ears will remain upright by themselves. We chose white for the outside ears and pink, blue and yellow for the inner sections.
Afterward, glue the ears onto the back side of the jar lid.
