Helpful Tips for Using the Printable
- Pick up some self laminating sheets if you don’t own a laminator.
- When laminating isn’t an option, print the pages on heavier paper such as white cardstock. It will hold up better for children if they use it on multiple walks or excursions.
- Children can have fun teaming up or enjoying a friendly race to determine who notices each item first.
- Take the printable along on outdoor adventures so kids can mark off anything they happen to spot.
- Invite children to come up with additional items they would like to include on the list.

If certain items are difficult to locate, use your imagination and search indoors for places where they might appear, such as in books or on shows! You could also investigate your garage or visit a nearby park.
