Heart Tree Handprint Craft
Making this handprint heart tree is incredibly simple! We especially like the dimensional hearts and the way a paper roll keeps the entire tree upright. If you enjoy the standing design, be sure to check out our autumn handprint tree version as well.
Some variations: Leave the hearts raised as we did, or glue them flat onto the tree instead. Another option is to create this lovely handprint tree on a sheet of paper!

Materials Required
Gather these supplies to create the handprint tree:
– Green and brown acrylic paints
– Super-strong adhesive – we prefer this adhesive for attaching sturdy items such as paper rolls
– Paper towel tube

How to Create a Handprint Heart Tree
1. Begin by painting the paper tube brown and the paper plate green.
2. Fold a sheet of pink cardstock in half, then sketch half a heart along the folded edge. Cut out the shape.

3. Outline a handprint and a section of the arm on brown construction paper. Attach it to your heart with glue.

4. Snip slits around the bottom of the paper towel tube, then adhere it to the paper plate.

5. Cut small hearts in various sizes from the red glitter paper. Glue them onto the heart section of the tree. These can be added either before or after attaching the complete handprint to the paper tube.

6. Continue placing hearts until you are satisfied with the appearance of your handprint tree.

We adore how simple this tree is to create! It makes a beautiful keepsake that children can prepare for grandparents or other family members.
