Adorable Paper Bag Shark Craft
To create our incredibly cute paper bag shark craft, start by printing the paper bag shark template.
You’ll additionally need brown paper lunch bags, acrylic paint in any colors you prefer, cardstock in matching colors along with red and white, medium-sized googly eyes, a glue stick, and scissors.
Supplies for the Shark Paper Bag Craft
- Paper Bag Shark Template
- Brown paper lunch bags
- Acrylic paint – colors of your choice
- Cardstock – matching colors, red, white
- Medium googly eyes
- Glue stick
- Scissors
Step-by-Step Baby Shark Craft Instructions
Start by painting a brown paper lunch bag. Choose 2 shades of the same color or colors that are very similar. One shade should be light, while the other should be dark. We chose silver and gray, light and dark blue, as well as purple and maroon.
Use the darker shade to paint the upper flap section of the bag.
Next, apply the lighter shade from the flap downward. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
As the paint dries, print the shark template onto white cardstock. Cut out each piece. Trace the mouth onto red cardstock and cut it out, keeping the jagged teeth white.
Trace the triangles onto cardstock in a coordinating color, then cut them out as well.
Once the paint has dried, attach the mouth beneath the flap with glue.
Secure the teeth beneath the flap, too.
Stick on the googly eyes.
To finish, attach the larger triangle to the top of the paper bag.
Then glue the smaller triangles onto the sides of the paper bag.
Doo doo doo doo doo! The most adorable, sweetest sharks in the ocean!

Instructions
- Start by painting a brown paper lunch bag. Select 2 shades of the same or nearly identical color. You’ll need one lighter shade and one darker shade. We used silver and gray, light and dark blue, and purple and maroon for our sharks.
- Paint the upper flap portion of the bag using the darker shade.
- Next, paint downward from the flap with the lighter shade. Allow the paint to dry completely.
- While waiting for the paint to dry, print the shark template on white cardstock. Cut out every piece. Trace the mouth onto red cardstock and cut it out. Keep the jagged teeth white.
- You’ll also need to trace the triangles onto cardstock in a coordinating color and cut them out.
- After the paint dries, glue the mouth beneath the flap.
