We made 5 feathers, though you’re welcome to include additional ones!
Red, yellow and orange cardstock were used.

3. Ask children to use a black marker to write what they appreciate on each feather.

4. Glue the googly eyes onto the paper roll.
Next, cut a small triangular beak and feet from the orange cardstock. Fold a sheet of paper over and cut out a triangle to form the beak.
Fasten the beak and feet onto the painted toilet paper roll.

5. Secure the feathers to the rear of the toilet paper roll turkey.

Throughout Thanksgiving, you can continue adding gratitude feathers to your turkey. It makes a wonderful keepsake craft that you can bring out each year to recall all the things you appreciated!
This turkey would also make a lovely Thanksgiving table decoration.
