When my boys were young and going through their superhero stage, I sometimes found it difficult to connect with them. Batman and Superman were not really my thing, so playing superheroes felt rather dull to me.
Superhero crafts gave my boys and me a way to meet in the middle and enjoy ourselves together.
My youngest adored Batman, and since he becomes passionate about everything he likes, we wound up creating more Batman crafts than Spiderman crafts – my other son preferred Spiderman.
Every now and then, we were able to include both superheroes in one craft session, just as we did with these superhero grass pots.

Help Batman soar above Gotham City after dark and keep it safe with an interactive paper plate project. Based on the children’s ages, an adult might need to handle some of the cutting. Still, kids will enjoy painting the paper plate blue.
Making a paper bag Batman is incredibly simple, and it can serve as a puppet when children place their hand inside.
Have the kids paint a flower pot to look like Gotham City, then sow a small amount of seeds. You can use grass seeds, cat grass seeds, wheat, rye or even beans. Seeing the seeds sprout provides kids with a wonderful experience and science activity.
