Easter Bunny Handprint Craft
To create our handprint Easter bunnies, start by printing our Easter eggs coloring page.
You will also need white paper, green cardstock and cardstock in your preferred background colors, black and assorted markers, scissors, and a glue stick.

Handprint Easter Bunny Craft Step by Step Directions
First, select the background colors you would like to use. We chose several shades of blue. Fold the cardstock in half and cut it into cards, or keep it folded to create traditional cards.
Next, trace a handprint onto standard white paper. Compared with cardstock, white paper is easier to fold and shape.
Cut slightly between the pinky and ring finger so this opening is longer than normal and closer in length to the thumb.
After that, fold the middle finger backward.
Position the bunny near the lower part of the cardstock card and glue it down. Attach glue only to the middle three fingers.
You will also need to cut a strip of green cardstock with a jagged top edge to represent the grass.
Place the grass along the bottom of the bunny and glue it down. Snip away any extra cardstock along the sides.
Then, print the Easter eggs coloring page. Decorate the eggs in any style you prefer. We enjoy using markers since they create brighter colors, but any coloring supplies will work.
Cut out one egg and attach it approximately in the middle of the bunny. Fold the thumb and pinky across it and glue them to the Easter egg, making it look like the bunny is holding tightly to the egg as he escapes.
To finish, use a black fine-tip marker or pen to add two simple eyes. Use markers in any colors you like to fill in the inner ears, nose, mouth, and whiskers.

Instructions
- Start by selecting the background colors you want. We used a variety of blue shades. Fold the cardstock in half and cut it into cards, or leave it folded to make standard cards.
- Next, outline a handprint on plain white paper. White paper is more flexible than cardstock.
- Make a small cut between the pinky and ring finger, extending it farther than usual so it is more similar in length to the thumb.
- Fold the middle finger toward the back.
- Glue the bunny toward the bottom of the cardstock card. Apply adhesive only to the three middle fingers.
- Cut a green cardstock strip with a zigzag edge to use as grass.
- Attach the grass along the lower edge of the bunny.
- Trim away any extra pieces from the edges.
- Print the Easter eggs coloring page next. Decorate the eggs however you wish. Markers are our favorite because they produce more vivid colors, but you can use any coloring tools you prefer.
- Cut out an egg and glue it near the center of the bunny.
- Fold the thumb and pinky over the Easter egg and glue them in place, making it appear as though the bunny is firmly clutching the egg while running away.
- Lastly, draw two simple eyes with a black fine-tip marker or pen.
