Nothing says Easter quite like bunnies and carrots. That’s why our Craft Stick Bunny Craft is sure to be a favorite. With oversized floppy ears and round bunny feet, this adorable Easter project is both charming and enjoyable to make.
We’ve also created a Free Printable Bunny Template to simplify the process, especially when it comes to sizing. It’s also helpful for practicing scissor skills. The foot circles are included, but using a ¾” circle paper punch makes creating them much easier.
Craft Stick Easter Bunny Craft
Our craft stick bunny begins with our free bunny template. You’ll also need four standard wooden craft sticks for each bunny. Gather the remaining supplies: brown, orange, and green cardstock, a white paint pen, metallic markers, small googly eyes, scissors, and a glue stick.

Bunny and Carrot Craft Step by Step Directions
Start by attaching 4 craft sticks with glue.
The simplest method we’ve discovered is to glue them onto a scrap of paper trimmed to the correct width. Allow the adhesive to dry.
Stick the googly eyes onto the front.
Using a metallic marker, draw the bunny’s nose, mouth, and whiskers. We chose blue, red, and purple for our design.
As the glue is drying, print the template and trim out each piece. Then trace the ears onto brown cardstock and cut them out.
The circles may also be traced onto brown cardstock, or you can use the ¾” circle punch to create 4 circles. Add the inner ear details with the white paint pen. Then draw lines on the circles to represent the toes.
After that, attach the ears with glue.
Be sure to glue the lower feet in position as well.
From the template, cut out the carrot and its leaf. Trace the carrot onto orange cardstock and cut it out. Next, trace the small leaf onto green cardstock and trim it out. Snip the top of the green leaf a few times.
Attach the leaf to the carrot with glue.
Next, adhere the carrot to the bunny.
To finish, glue the final two circles in place so they hold the carrot.

- You may trace the circles onto brown cardstock, or create 4 circles with the ¾” circle punch.
- Add the inner ear details using the white paint pen.
- Draw lines on the circles to represent the toes.
- Then, glue the ears into position.
- Attach the bottom feet with glue as well.
- Cut the carrot and its leaf from the template.
- Trace the carrot onto orange cardstock and cut it out.
- Trace the small leaf onto green cardstock and cut it out.
- Snip the top of the green leaf several times.
- Glue the leaf onto the carrot.
- Next, attach the carrot to the bunny.
- Finally, glue the remaining two circles in place to hold the carrot.
