Making this fruit roll-ups recipe is wonderfully simple! Children will enjoy these as a tasty snack. We especially appreciate that they contain real fruit and no extra sugar, as honey provides their sweetness.
Note: As a helpful reminder, babies younger than 1 year old should not be given honey.

These fruit roll-ups are excellent additions to lunchboxes! Making them with the children is also a cheerful summer activity. Head out to pick berries, then prepare your fruit leather roll-ups once you return home. Any leftover fruit can be made into real fruit popsicles as well!

Children can take part in preparing these roll-ups. Ask them to rinse the berries and remove any stems. They can also add the honey and lemon juice. Spreading the puree will be enjoyable for them too. Naturally, let the kids handle the rolling!

Set the oven to 170 degrees Fahrenheit, or use the lowest setting available on your oven.

Cover a large rimmed baking sheet measuring 17×12 inches with parchment paper or a silicone baking liner.

Wash the berries and remove their stems when needed.

Place the berries inside a blender or food processor.

Pour in the honey and lemon juice, then process until the mixture is smooth.

To create a silky texture, pass the puree through a fine mesh strainer and discard the seeds.

Transfer the blended fruit to the baking sheet and distribute it evenly across the whole pan.

Set the pan in the oven and dry for 5-6 hours, turning it halfway through the process. Take it out once the puree has firmed up and is no longer tacky.

Let the pan cool fully. When using a silicone baking mat, carefully lift the cooled fruit leather away and place it on a large sheet of wax paper.

Slice the wax-paper-covered fruit leather into long pieces, then roll them up.

Keep the fruit roll-ups in a sealed container for as long as 2 weeks.
