We’re summoning the spooky fun with more cupcake liner creations, this time with a Halloween twist. However, our Cupcake Liner Mummy Craft is far from frightening. Instead, it’s lots of fun and a wonderful project for toddlers who want to celebrate Halloween.
This activity is not only perfect for Halloween, but it also lets toddlers practice cutting by preparing the paper strips used to cover the mummy. Attach a cupcake liner to a piece of cardstock, then glue the strips over it. That’s all there is to it! This craft is truly as simple as can be.
Simple Halloween Mummy Cupcake Liner Craft
To make this mummy project, gather cupcake liners in any colors you prefer, plain white paper, cardstock in your selected background shade, medium-sized googly eyes, scissors, and a glue stick.
Supplies for the Halloween Mummy Craft
- Cupcake liners – colors of your choice
- White paper
- Cardstock – preferred background color
- Medium-sized googly eyes
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Step-by-Step Mummy Craft Instructions
First, select the cupcake liner color for your mummy along with the cardstock shade for the background. We picked gray cardstock for our background, though you can choose any color you like.
Press a cupcake liner flat.
Position and glue the cupcake liner in the middle of the cardstock.
Attach the googly eyes.
Next, slice several strips from the white paper. We used standard white printer paper since it’s simple to cut and glue.
Randomly attach the white paper strips over the cupcake liner.
Keep adding strips until your mummy is completely covered and prepared for Halloween!
