Need a simple Earth Day project? These color-by-number worksheets require no preparation. They also offer children an excellent opportunity to practice identifying colors.
For little ones who are not yet able to read the color names, shade a small area beside each word using the matching color. This gives them helpful practice reading the word while connecting it with the color shown next to it!

This is one of our favorite activities because it creates very little mess and is a wonderful way to mark Earth Day at home or in the classroom! Combine it with our Earth suncatcher craft!
