Inside the flowers, you can write words that describe Mom or include short phrases such as “My Mom loves to bake”, or “My Mom’s favorite food is pizza.”
Alternatively, leave the flower centers empty and give her the wreath by itself as a present.

Wreath-Making Instructions
1. Print the flower and leaf templates.
If you plan to color the templates yourself, print them on white cardstock. Another option is to print them on colored paper and place white or yellow circles over the colored paper.
The complimentary printable templates are available at the end of the post.
2. Decorate the templates.
To cover the paper plate as shown, color seven wreath flower templates and three leaves. You may also decide to use more or fewer!
After finishing the coloring, trim out every template.
3. Remove the center from a paper plate.
Take out the middle of the paper plate. I prefer gently bending the plate to create a starting slit, which lets you insert the scissors and cut away this section.
4. Paint the paper plate.
This step is optional, although parts of the paper plate may remain visible based on where the templates are attached.
5. Attach the templates to the paper plate.
Secure the templates onto the paper plate. If you prefer not to color all eight flowers, spread them farther apart and attach fewer pieces. We used seven flowers and three leaves.
6. Attach a twine loop to the back for hanging.
7. Write words on the flowers.
Write descriptive terms about Mom in the middle of the flowers.
