S’mores Project for Kids
Children will have a great time creating this easy s’mores craft!
Write a sweet message inside the card, such as:
- “I love you s’more”
- Hope your birthday is s’more enjoyable than you expected!
- Life is s’more exciting with you around!

Materials Required
- Adhesive – use a glue stick for the paper, plus hot glue with adult supervision, or adhesive dots for attaching the googly eyes and popsicle sticks

Steps for Making a S’mores Craft
1. Cut out the complimentary printable template.
The template can be found at the end of this post.
2. Fold the paper and trace the design.
Fold a sheet of white cardstock or construction paper in half to create the card shape.
Next, trace the template while keeping the folded edge of the card at the top. Cut out the shape.
3. Create the chocolate drip design.
For the chocolate drip effect, trace the template onto a brown sheet of cardstock or construction paper.
Attach it to the top of the paper card with glue. If the paper extends beyond the card, that’s fine—you’ll cut away the excess in the next step.
4. Cut away the sides and attach the popsicle sticks.
Cut off the brown sections extending past the white card, or keep them if you prefer.
Afterward, glue one popsicle stick along the top and another along the bottom of the card.
5. Attach the googly eyes.
6. Create the cheeks and smile.
Use a black marker to draw the mouth.
Dip the end of a pencil or paintbrush into pink paint, then dab it beside the mouth.
7. Write a note inside the card.
