Every card is numbered so you’ll know the sequence in which to arrange them.However, you’re welcome to rearrange them if you prefer. Only the first and final clues are important. The remaining cards can be shuffled however you like!

Note: When there is an item children should not touch, they can simply locate it visually and check it off.

Children can mark each item as they spot it during the week leading up to the 4th of July or on the holiday itself.
We designed the clue cards so the challenge level can be adjusted from easy to difficult.
For phrases such as “look closely” or “look by,” you can position the card directly beside the hinted location or hide it somewhere more challenging.
For instance, you could tuck this clue card behind a chair or leave it somewhere easier to spot for younger children.
The clue cards are printed across 2 pages and include 12 clues altogether.
You could place a treat or a non-candy reward at every clue, or save one bigger prize for the finish.
How to Set-Up the 4th of July Scavenger Hunt Clues
- Begin by hiding the 2nd clue in the bathroom or shower.
- Place the following clue inside a grocery bag.
- Keep hiding each clue card according to the hints from the preceding clue until only the final one remains.
- For the final reward, place something by the front door or just outside it.
- To extend the scavenger hunt, include additional cards of your own before the last clue.
- Once everything is prepared, give your children the first clue to begin.
