Here are a few suggestions to help kids figure out the scrambled words:
- Separate the vowels from the consonants and examine them individually.
- Recall every 4th of July-related word you know and jot them down. Do any contain similar letters? Record every idea that comes up, then compare them.
- Rearranging the letters yourself may often make the answer easier to spot. Write them in another order and check whether a familiar word appears.
