This easy handprint project makes an adorable Halloween craft! Best of all, it requires only a handful of materials.
Have an entire classroom create one and arrange them on a bulletin board for Halloween. You can even make bats in a variety of colors!
Give the handprints extra dimension by bending the paper forward, then attach the bat to the wall using sticky tack or tape placed on the bat’s circular center.

Creating a Bat Handprint
1. First, trace around both hands to create 2 handprints.
2. From black cardstock, cut out one circle.
A small bowl or container can be used as a tracing guide.
3. Make 2 small triangles for the ears.
Attach them to the back of the circle with glue.
4. Add 2 googly eyes with glue.
We chose one big googly eye and one smaller one.
5. To create the teeth, cut 2 triangles from white cardstock.
Position and glue the teeth beneath the googly eyes.
This handprint project is incredibly simple and would look precious displayed on a wall or door for Halloween!
