Today’s TP Roll Gift Box project features a CANDY CORN Gift Box. I decorated them with some incredibly cute Kawaii faces, which I think immediately turns them into charming DIY Treat Boxes for Halloween or perhaps even Thanksgiving!
Candy Corn Gift Box DIY
Here’s a craft dating back many years! I’m a big fan of Toilet Paper Roll Crafts – for children and adults alike – because TP Rolls (or Kitchen Towel rolls, if you’d rather) are inexpensive (actually free!) and wonderfully versatile. They can also become sturdy little gift boxes… and you can shape them in many creative ways (be sure to explore our other TP Roll Gift Box ideas here!).
If you’re preparing for a Halloween Party (or making Thanksgiving Treat Boxes), why not create an assembly line so you can produce these Candy Corn Treat Boxes quickly and effortlessly?!
Candy Corn Gift Box DIY – Supplies
- ONE TP Roll per treat box, or half of a Kitchen Towel Roll
- Yellow, orange, and white paint
- Pens or paint for adding facial details (optional)
- Stapler (the fastest and simplest option!)
How to create Candy Corn Treat Boxes
This easy Candy Corn Gift Box video shows just how enjoyable these boxes are to make.. but I’ve also included step-by-step written directions below!
Step-by-step instructions for the TP Roll Candy Corn Gift Box DIY
- Start by painting your TP Rolls. I used yellow, orange, and white, making the orange section twice the size of the yellow and white sections. Allow them to dry completely!
- After it has dried, press one end of your candy corn box flat and staple it closed.
- Next, fill your treat box with Halloween sweets or Thanksgiving surprises.
- Hold your TP Roll by the stapled end. Turn it by 9 degrees, flatten the box once more, and fasten it with staples.
- If you like, you can add some adorable Kawaii Faces (I used a mix of Sharpies and Posca pens, but simply use whatever supplies you have available)
Your ADORABLE Candy Corn Gift Boxes are COMPLETE!! Have fun!!
