Materials required for creating your St Patrick’s Day Gift Baskets
- Your printable template
- Lightweight cardstock works best, although printer paper will also (just) do the job
- Colored pencils, crayons or markers for the coloring page designs
- A pair of scissors
- A glue stick
- Some shredded paper and St Patrick’s Day goodies like gold coins and rainbow lace. Delicious!

How to create your St Patrick’s Day Paper Baskets
Begin by selecting the paper basket template you want to use – would you prefer a full-color basket, or a coloring page design?
For the best result, print them on lightweight cardstock!
After preparing your basket printable, such as coloring it in, take your time to..
… cut out the basket pieces – you’ll have the basket’s main body along with the rainbow handle!
Next, create tidy folds in your paper basket. I find it simpler to apply ALL the glue to the tabs beforehand, then carefully attach each side to the one beside it.
To finish, attach the rainbow handle! Add shredded paper or Easter grass along with treats. That’s it. Isn’t it precious?
