Create Entertaining Photo Props for New Year’s Eve

Supplies needed:

  • Photo Prop Printable
  • White cardstock
  • Craft sticks
  • Markers – black, assorted colors
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

Start by printing the photo props onto white cardstock. It is sturdier than standard paper, and your props need some firmness so they can stand up without bending.

After printing, we chose to go over the outlines once more using a black sharpie. Next, fill in the photo props with color.

Here’s where the creativity begins! Experiment with different colors and patterns!

We intentionally did not add a New Year’s greeting to the props because they’re enjoyable to use throughout the entire year. However, the hat’s brim is an excellent spot for writing a Happy New Year message.

After coloring the props, cut them out.

Remember to remove the eye openings from the sunglasses as well. An adult should carefully poke the scissor tip into the middle of each opening and cut along the black outline.

At last, glue a craft stick onto the back and side of each prop. Then, head off to capture some amusing photos!

So much fun, isn’t it? Absolutely! They’re perfect for the new year, birthday parties, and all sorts of celebrations.
