Popsicle Father’s Day Card Project

Materials Required
- Adhesive – use a glue stick for the paper and hot glue, with adult supervision, or adhesive dots for the googly eyes and popsicle stick

Creating a Popsicle Stick Card
1. Trim the free printable template.
The template is available at the bottom of this post.
2. Crease and trace.
Fold a sheet of cardstock in half to form the card.
Next, trace the template with its left edge positioned along the cardstock fold. Cut out the shape.
To include the popsicle’s cut-out section, choose the template featuring that piece removed.
3. Create the ice cream drip detail.
For the dripping ice cream paper accent, trace the template onto a sheet of white cardstock.
Attach it to the upper portion of the paper popsicle.
After that, cut narrow paper pieces to use as sprinkles.
4. Attach the googly eyes.
5. Draw a smile using a black marker.
6. Paint on rosy cheeks.
Dip the back of a paintbrush or pencil into pink paint, then dab it beside the mouth.
7. Attach a popsicle stick to the card’s back.
Secure the popsicle stick on the back with tape or glue.
8. Write a note inside the card.
