These Best Pop Father’s Day cards are simple to create using our Best Pop Printables. Simply print, trim, and attach them, then add fingerprints to create the overflowing bucket of delicious popcorn.
Father’s Day Best Pop Card
Before making our Best Pop card, you’ll need the Best Pop printables.
You’ll also need acrylic paints in white, yellow, and orange, cardstock in your preferred colors, scissors, and a glue stick.
Fingerprint Best Pop Card Craft Supplies Needed
- Best Pop Printable
- Acrylic paint – white, orange, yellow
- Cardstock – preferred colors
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Father’s Day Best Pop Card Step by Step Directions
First, print the Best Pop printables and cut them out. One design is for Best Pop, and there’s also one for Best Grandpop.
For the card base, fold a sheet of cardstock in your chosen color in half.
Attach one of the buckets to the card’s front.
Next, place your paints on a paint palette or paper plate. Add a little white, yellow, and orange paint.
Begin by dipping a finger into the white paint. Press fingerprints into the bucket to resemble popcorn.
Keep adding yellow fingerprints. Include a few pieces of popcorn that have spilled from the bucket, too.
Add several orange fingerprints as well to represent popcorn covered in butter or cheese. Allow the paint to dry fully.
Once every bit of paint has dried, write your Happy Father’s Day greeting inside your Best Pop Card!

- Trim out the buckets. There’s one for Best Pop and another for Best Grandpop.
- Fold a sheet of cardstock in your selected color in half to form the card base.
- Attach one bucket to the front of the card.
- Next, arrange your paints on a paint palette or paper plate. Pour out a small quantity of white, yellow, and orange paint.
- Begin by dipping a finger into white paint. Then press fingerprints into the bucket to look like popcorn.
- Continue by adding yellow fingerprints. Add some popcorn that has spilled over the bucket as well.
- Add a few orange fingerprints too for popcorn topped with butter or cheese. Let the paint dry thoroughly.
- At last, after all the paint is dry, write your Happy Father’s Day greeting inside your Best Pop Card!
- After that, create a card for the Best Grandpop as well!
