Our Mother’s Day flower trophy craft came from the idea behind our Mother’s Day spinner. One section featured the words: “Mom, you are…the best”. Children colored a trophy positioned above “the best”. The trophy itself says: “World’s best mom”.
I had been thinking about making this Mother’s Day flower trophy craft for quite some time. Adding flowers to the trophy seemed like a lovely finishing touch.
Over the years, we have made many floral crafts for mom, including the flower bouquet spinner and the handprint flower bouquet. There can never be too many flowers for mom on her special day! Whether you choose a flower card (16 Mother’s Day flower cards) or a flower craft (13 Mother’s Day flower crafts), she is sure to adore them.

Included with the trophy template are the messages “World’s best mom” and “World’s best mum”. A blank sign is included too, so you can create it for grandma or add a personal message.
The flowers and leaves may be colored by children, or you can print them straight onto colored paper.

How to create the Mother’s Day flower trophy
The trophy template is available in two versions:
1. template – option 1– print the template, cut out the shapes, and trace them onto the appropriate paper.
2. template – option 2 – print the design straight onto colored paper, then cut out the pieces.
With these options, you can easily complete the craft with one or two children or with an entire classroom of students.

Step-by-step instructions
First, attach the handles to the back of the trophy, placing one handle on either side.

Position the “World’s best mom/mum” sign in the center of the trophy and glue it down.

Place the trophy in the center of a sheet of white cardstock.

Attach the base along the lower edge of the trophy.

After coloring the flowers and leaves, glue them across the top of the trophy. Begin with the two flowers on either side.

Attach the leaves behind the third flower, then glue that flower above the other two, centered between them.
