If flowers are mom’s favorite, she’ll absolutely cherish this Craft Stick Handprint Flower Bouquet Craft for Mother’s Day. These flowers will never fade; instead, they become even more special over time as mom looks back and remembers how tiny and adorable her children once were. Okay, I’m feeling a bit sentimental.
This project is truly heartwarming and wonderfully simple to create. Our included Free Handprint Bouquet Printable Template makes it even easier. It includes the triangle shape required for the craft stick bouquet holder, as well as a flower pattern. Of course, flower stickers or premade craft flowers would work perfectly, too.

Before beginning this flower bouquet project, download our free printable template. You’ll also need craft sticks, scrapbook paper, green, pink, and purple cardstock, a metallic marker, twine, scissors, and a glue stick.
Supplies for the Handprint Flower Bouquet Craft
Step-by-Step Instructions for the Handprint Flower Bouquet Craft
First, print the handprint flower bouquet template and cut out each piece.
Place the triangle onto a sheet of decorative scrapbook paper, trace around it, and cut out the shape.
Then, attach three craft sticks around the triangle’s edges with glue.
After that, trace your child’s hand onto green cardstock and cut it out.
Attach the handprint to the upper back of the triangle’s flat section.
Now you can prepare the flowers. Trace the template onto cardstock in your chosen colors, then cut out the shapes. Make enough flowers to cover the handprint. We chose pink, purple, and maroon cardstock, but you can use any colors mom loves.
After cutting out all the flowers, start attaching them to the handprint.
Place one flower at the tip of every finger, then add a few more across the palm.
Next, decorate the middle of each flower with a marker. We chose to use a metallic marker.
To finish, make a bow from baker’s twine and glue it onto the middle of the top craft stick.
I’m not sure about you, but handprint flowers will always be my favorite flowers.

Instructions
- Start by printing the handprint flower bouquet template, then cut out the pieces.

- Trace your child’s handprint onto green cardstock and cut it out.
- Secure the handprint to the upper back of the triangle’s flat portion.
- Cut out the flowers next. Trace the template onto cardstock in your preferred colors and cut them out. Create enough flowers to cover the handprint.
- When all the flowers are ready, begin gluing them onto the handprint.
- Attach one flower to each fingertip and place a few additional ones on the palm.
- Use a marker to fill in each flower’s center. We used a metallic marker.
- Finish by tying a bow with baker’s twine and gluing it to the center of the top craft stick.
