Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with our adorable Shamrock People Craft! We turned ours into little men, but adding eyelashes would easily give them a more traditionally feminine look, too.

Besides the main shamrock shape, the template includes a top hat and mustache for your shamrock men. However you design them, they’re sure to be charming and make a delightful St. Patrick’s Day preschool craft.
Shamrock People Craft
Before creating your shamrock people, download our shamrock man template. You’ll also need cardstock, pipe cleaners, small googly eyes, a black marker, tape, a glue stick, and scissors.
St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Man Craft Supplies Needed
- Shamrock Man template
- Cardstock – green, orange, black, or any colors you prefer
- Pipe cleaners – green, gold
- Small googly eyes
- Black marker
- Tape
- Glue stick
- Scissors
Shamrock People St. Patrick’s Day Craft Step by Step Directions
First, print the shamrock man template and cut out each piece.
Use the template to trace a shamrock onto green cardstock.
Then, cut out the shamrock shape.
Trace the hat onto black cardstock and the mustache onto orange cardstock. Or choose any colors you like.
Next, attach the googly eyes to the shamrock with glue.
Draw a simple smile using the black marker.
Choose the style you want for your shamrock. Will it wear a hat or a mustache? Maybe it won’t have any accessories, or perhaps it will be a girl. Glue on the pieces you prefer and personalize it however you wish.
After that, cut two pipe cleaners in half.
Curve one end of each pipe cleaner.
Secure two of the pipe cleaners to the shamrock with tape to create the legs.
Finally, attach the remaining two pipe cleaners with tape to make the arms.
