To create this delightful purse craft, begin by getting our purse template.
You will also require cardstock in various shades, black buttons, a black sharpie, scissors, glue dots, and a glue stick. For the driver’s license that goes inside the purse, gather coloring supplies or a small photo of mom.

- Cardstock – green, red, assorted colors

Purse Card Craft Step by Step Directions
Start by printing the purse template, then trace and trim each piece.
Place the template pieces on your chosen cardstock colors and trace around them. First, select the colors for the main purse and strap, then cut them out.
You’ll also want to trace the flowers using your preferred colors and the heart onto red cardstock. Cut out the license and keep it plain. Then cut a few narrow green cardstock strips to use as flower stems.
Once every piece has been cut, fold the main purse section in half.
Bring the flap down across the front.
Unfold the purse and attach the strap to its top with glue.
Add a black button to the front side of the flap.
Decorate the purse front with a black marker. Feel free to include any designs you want.
Then complete the driver’s license by drawing mom’s picture or trimming a small photo and gluing it onto the license. Be sure to add your signature as well.
Glue the license and heart inside the purse.
Attach the flower tops to the green stems, then glue the flowers so they peek out from the purse opening.

Finally, fold the card closed once more.
Place a glue dot on the back of the upper flap so the purse stays shut.
