3D Heart Flowers For Mothers Day Or Valentines Day

We created these 3D heart blossoms especially for Mother’s Day. They are lovely to look at and make a wonderful project for mom or grandma. Naturally, they would also suit other celebrations, such as Valentine’s Day or mom’s birthday.

3D heart flowers

To create these flowers, you only need paper, yarn, wooden craft sticks and a paper roll. Simple projects are our favorite, and you can find even more inspiration in our collection of 200+ easy crafts for kids.

You could swap the hearts for paper flowers, although I think the hearts are especially attractive and the 3D design looks fantastic. We chose pink for our hearts, but red would be beautiful as well.

This is such a lovely project to include in our collection of 50+ flower crafts!

Include a small card (15 Mother’s Day handprint cards or 16 Mother’s Day flower cards), and these 3D heart flowers become an ideal present that kids can create for mom or grandma.

Paper roll projects are wonderful because a small amount of paint can transform them into almost anything, from a Father’s Day project to an entire panda family.

Steps for making 3D heart flowers

First, paint the paper roll and craft sticks green. Alternatively, begin with green wooden craft sticks as we did.

From pink or red paper, cut 12 hearts of equal size. Three hearts are required to form one 3D heart.

Crease each heart shape down the middle. Put glue on one folded side of a heart, then place another folded heart against it and line up the edges. Repeat the process with the third heart. This creates one of the four 3D hearts. Make three more to complete the set.
